Momentum helps you build the skills, confidence and experience to move into adult life and employment.
Delivered by SEND4, Momentum is a supported pathway for young people aged 16–24 with an EHCP, designed to help you develop independence, prepare for work and succeed in employment.
Momentum is made up of three distinct programmes:
Each programme supports young people at different points in their journey. Some members may join one programme that meets their needs, while others may move between programmes over time as they develop confidence, skills and experience.
Build independence and confidence
Momentum Life focuses on helping young people feel more confident, capable and ready for the next step.
Preparing for the pathway into employment
Momentum Work helps members understand what employers expect and build the confidence needed to move towards real employment opportunities.
Support for young people already in work
Once in work, SEND4 can continue to provide guidance, mentoring and support to help individuals succeed in the workplace.
Momentum is not a one-size-fits-all programme.
