Job Coaching (Ages 14+)

Helping people succeed in the workplace, every step of the way.

A Job Coach does far more than support someone in a job. At SEND4, our Job Coaches help young people and adults build the confidence to experience the workplace, develop new skills and achieve success from their very first work experience placement through to long-term employment.

Whether it's supporting a first employer visit, helping someone settle into a work experience placement, preparing for interviews or providing in-work support, our Job Coaches are there every step of the way. They also work closely with employers, helping them understand each individual, build confidence and create workplaces where everyone can succeed.

Our Job Coaching includes:

  • Support during work experience placements
  • Employer visits and workplace introductions
  • Interview preparation and work trials
  • Learning workplace routines and new tasks
  • Building confidence and independence
  • Travel training where required
  • Guidance and support for employers
  • In-work support with gradual reduction as confidence grows

The goal of every Job Coach is simple: to help people become confident, independent and valued members of the workforce. We don't just help people find opportunities—we help them make the most of them.
